Megadeth Tornado of Souls guitar solo cover Ben Eller Seymour Duncan Nazgul Kemper Profiler - Video

DESCRIPTION:
Possibly Marty Friedman's best solo of all time, Tornado of Souls by Megadeth (from the thrash classic Rust in Piece)! This has been on my list of things to learn forever, so last week i finally bit the bullet and sat down to start learning it. I am VERY convinced there are no accurate tabs or lesson videos for this. I pored over as many as i could find, and most were CLOSE but not nailing the almighty Frasing of Friedman. So i watched TONS of live videos of the man himself, and pored over the audio endlessly until i was convinced i had an accurate transcription. I am going to do a full lesson video on this soon, along with super slow play-throughs for practicing and comparison of what i'm doing to the original. This solo is insanely hard, one of the hardest to play and transcribe songs i've ever worked on.
Playing my swirled Ibanez RG7421 Charlie here, which has the incredible Seymour Duncan Nazgul pickup in the bridge. This is an incredible pickup for rhythm or leads... i'm in love. The clarity is fantastic, and i feel like the output is just right. It isn't TOO hot, but its hot enough to have a healthy amount of compression without losing dynamics. I have the Sentient in the neck, which is also amazing, but i didn't use it in this cover.
Playing through my Kemper Profiler, using an Amp Factory profile of a Cornford Carrera . Absolutely love this thing. Best gear purchase i've ever made!
