Due to the popularity of the compilation of the Eurovision covers made by the biggest Yugoslav label Jugoton the year before, and even more to the fact that the Yugoslav entry came back with a big success from Munich, which increased a lot the radio play of the contest songs, they decided to do it again and released "Evroviziske melodije 2" which included 14 songs from ESC 1983 sung in Croatian by some popular and some rising stars of the Yugoslav pop scene.

"Rücksicht" originally sung by Hoffmann & Hoffmann for Germany at ESC 1983 (5th place), was recorded by Arsen Dedić. Arsen Dedić is a Croatian singer-songwriter who has been prominent in the Croatian as well as former Yugoslav music scene. Dedić writes and performs chansons as well as film music. He is also an award-winning poet, and has been one of the best-selling poets of former Yugoslavia.
