DESCRIPTION:
this is the neon prophet band from tuscon arizona. the band has been playing at the chicago bar for 26 years now. I love this band. I first heard their music when I lived in tuscon about 12 years ago. There has been a changing around of band members from time to time but the music has always stayed very constant in it's quality and appeal. I have always been particularily excited by the bass stylings of jamie cerrito. His style is very unique and really sets the pace for the whole show. Also on drums is chip ritter. In this video you will see chip juggle three sets of sticks....while drumming! He did this on the letterman show sometime back. Anyhow...if you are ever in tuscon and looking for great reggae music stop by and check them out at the chicago bar....usually thursdays and satrurdays I think. I hadn't seen them for about two years so this was a real treat for me. I moved from Washington state to Mesa az. so I will get downto check them out a little more often now.
