Coors Light Indie Rock Series #2: Ardnaxela - Fatastidate release album

Alexandra Rosa es Ardnaxela; cantautora de Indie Pop de San Juan, Puerto Rico, actualmente radicada en la Ciudad de Mexico. Fue vocalista de los grupos Indie Pop de Puerto Rico: Plasticina, Infamia All Stars y Mupsiquita (actualmente conocidos como Superaquello) y ha trabajado como corista de varios artistas de Pop/Rock Latino, con giras en España, Puerto Rico, EE.UU, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Sur y Centro America.

En 2005 se fue de solista y saco su primer disco independiente 'Telecine De La Tarde con Ardnaxela', la cual lanzo los sencillos 'El Sello', 'Tirijala' y 'Narciso' con presentaciones en Mexico, EE.UU y Puerto Rico.

Sus influencias musicales van de Rocio Durcal, Sandro De America, Jose Jose, The Smiths, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Cocteau Twins, Sylvia Rexach, Astrud Gilberto, Pink Floyd a The Pixies, explorando raices musicales proveniente de Mexico, Puerto Rico, Argentina y España.

Ardnaxela y AtrumOrbis lanza el nuevo EP 'Fantastidate', en marzo del 2011. El primer sencillo se titula 'Pelicula'.

Alexandra Rosa is Ardnaxela; Indie Pop songstress from San Juan, Puerto Rico, currently residing in Mexico City. She was the vocalist for the Indie Rock Pop bands from Puerto Rico: Plasticina, Infamia All Stars & Mupsiquita (currently known as Superaquello) and worked as a backing vocalist with various Latin Pop/Rock artists, touring Spain, USA, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, South & Central America.

In 2005 she went solo releasing independently her first CD 'Telecine De La Tarde con Ardnaxela', which she promoted the singles 'El Sello', 'Tirijala' & 'Narciso' with concerts in Mexico, USA and Puerto Rico.

Ardnaxela's music influences range from Rocio Durcal, Sandro De America, Jose Jose, The Smiths, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Cocteau Twins, Sylvia Rexach, Astrud Gilberto, Pink Floyd to The Pixies, and explores musical styles coming from Mexico, Puerto Rico, Argentina and Spain.

Ardnaxela is promoting her new EP 'Fantastidate', released March 2011 on AtrumOrbis Records. The first single is titled 'Pelicula'.
