This is a pioneering rave track from Aquasky on one of the greatest singles released by Rob Playford's Moving Shadow imprint. 'Spectre / I Can't Wait (No More)' is a perfect picture of the label's output at the time, with 2 sides of future drum & bass music. Personally I'd say Spectre is the most solid of this 12", with a uniquely atmospheric yet uplifting sound I'd beg to hear in newer productions. Flipping the record you have I Can't Wait (No More). This is masterclass rave music from the trio, with gritty basslines and a killer vocal. Ahead of its time by far.
With a fair selection of releases on Moving Shadow, for me this one takes the crown and remains in many DJ bags still - heard Goldie drop I Can't Wait at Fabric very recently and can only say there was eruption. A grade material!
