Sounds of Brass - Aquarius / Let the sunshine in - Video
PUBLISHED:  Nov 09, 2014
DESCRIPTION:
South African group formed in Johannesburg in 1969, with members: Dennie Loren (vocals), Neville Whitmill (vocals, but not credited on this album), Peter Hubner (organ, piano, trumpet, trombone), Lofty Schultz (sax, flute), Paddy Powell (lead guitar, acoustic guitar, vocals), Manny Francisco (percussion, vocals) and Nippy Cripwell (bass guitar, vocals). At some stage Mike Faure (sax) was also included in the line-up.

They were a full-blooded rock-soul group that featured the best South African soul vocalist, Neville Whitmill, at his peak. They broke up in 1970, with most of the members moving on to Music Corporation. Dennie Loren, Paddy Powell and Manny Francisco all moved to the USA.

Although Neville Whitmill is not credited on the album cover, I am almost certain his voice can be heard on this track, especially during "Let the sunshine in".

This song is off the album "Live! Live! Live!" released in 1969. It is a cover of a 5th Dimension song from 1969.
