DESCRIPTION:
Middle section (all that was filmed) from a performance in Dunedin in October 2012.
I spent the morning collecting rocks and sticks around the harbour beaches near the venue. (See the video AM4HL for a document of this).
For the perfromance I attached contact mics to 2 large rocks and proceeded to build a structure of sticks and stones higher and higher until it collapsed. The contact mics were attached to loop pedals on different length loops so that every time I added a stone another sound would be recorded on the loop.
Once the structure collapsed I proceeded into a more typical guitar drone and vocal piece.
