Antonio Raposo gives voice to a project of strings, which pays tribute to classical songs that were a tremendous successes in our music since the 50s, and were immortalized by some of the most remarkable names of the Portuguese Music.
It is a joint interpretation of this astonishing singer Antonio Raposo and his quartet of strings that accompanies this project (violins, viola and cello), composed of dedicated musicians who have shared the stage with singers of the general public: Mariza, Dulce Pontes, Carlos do Carmo, sergio Godinho, Tito Paris, among others.
Over time Antonio Raposo has become regarded as one of the most promising singers of the Portuguese Music, earning admiration of artists already holding an enviable resume in the Portuguese music industry. Specialized Media also recognizes his artistic quality, comparing it with international artists, who also brought new audiences with successful songs that marked other generations, and some of the examples are the singers Michael Buble and Josh Groban.
This musical journey goes by names that were and still are, part of our Musical History which remind us of the old Portugal, of another Era, full of nostalgic feelings and glamor. These musical themes were known by great voices like, Amalia, Paulo de carvalho, Carlos Ramos, Tristao da Silva, Carlos do Carmo, Max, Tony de Matos, Carlos Paredes, Trovante, Madredeus, among others.
