THE STORY:

The progress was quick and and the chemistry between Infamous, Jason Haft, and Justin Govinda McHale was immeadiate. Together they spent several months writing and recording new material, and then began playing shows all over the south florida area. The buzz soon grew and they began selling CD's and playing for packed crowds everywhere. ANTENNA'S demo was produced by former three-time World Title DJ champion Infamous and mixed by Chris Theis from New York (also mixed Santana, DMX, Mudvayne, etc)



The band traveled to NY for the M.E.A.N.Y. Festival in October 2005 and to showcase for several labels. ANTENNA caught the eye of Greg Kaplan, (an amazing filmmaker who has shot videos for Green Day, My Chemical Romance, Fallout Boy, Avenge Sevenfold, & MTV to name a few) and he decided to document all of their live performances as well as interview the band. The result was an explosive EPK which is currently circulating around the country promoting the band. ANTENNA's trip was very successful, and they came out of it with the attention of many A&R and industry professionals, as well as an invitation to return to the next level of competition in the M.E.A.N.Y. Festival in December.



The scene is going mad for ANTENNA'S unique mix of modern progressive rock, psychedelic, Latin, jazz, and dynamic melodies that are delivered into a catchy, radio friendly format. ANTENNA'S songs, "FOR A LIFETIME" and "RISE ABOVE" can now be heard on clear channels 102.5 FM and 104.9 FM in San Francisco and also on 93.1 FM in Miami. The band is also in negotiations with Dark Castle movie productions for the use of "RISE ABOVE" in an upcoming movie due to be released in December. Today Antenna is as busy as ever, writing and recording new material, constantly playing shows up and down Florida, and promoting themselves across the country.



Infamous and Jason Haft began collaborating musically in 2003, creating a unique and refreshing sound within the rock genre. Jason and Infamous spent months auditioning and searching for the best singers Miami had to offer.

But it wasnt until Govinda answered an add on the internet that the true alchemy of ANTENNA began to take place. The only problem was that he was miles away, living in NY! But as the connection was undeniable, within two months Govinda and his family had packed up their car and all of their belongings and relocated in Miami.



Govinda's voice is one of the most versatile in rock music today. He can belt out the loudest roughest screams then switch to the softest of whispers within a heart beat. Infamous' constant changing and emotionally charged song writing is a melting pot of all the music he has experienced throughout his life, and when Jason Haft implies his intricate drumming and solid grooves, together they paint the perfect picture for Govinda to put into words. So what is it about ANTENNA that makes them stand out.?
