Grammy winning artist Lalah Hathaway performing “Lean On Me” in a live session fully powered by an Antelope Audio Eco System and with engineer Brian Vibberts aboard.

In February 2016 Lalah Hathaway won a Grammy award for Best Traditional R&B performance, but knowing the amazing and inspiring artist she is, that was surely not a surprise for us. Just a few months before she rocked the Grammys we had the chance to shoot this incredible live studio performance of her piece "Lean On Me".

The session took place in the amazing Legends Studio in Burbank, CA (formerly Barbara Streisand's Evergreen Studio). We had our great friend Brian “Dr. Vibb” Vibberts engineer the live recording of Lalah Hathaway and her band using exclusively an Antelope Audio Eco System.

That featured the latest and most advanced pieces of gear we've come up with – namely Orion32 Multi-Channel AD/DA Converter, MP32 Multi-Channel Mic Preamp and Satori High End Monitoring Controller. Dr. Vibb not only did engineer the recording, but also mixed this completely live session, monitoring it with the Satori. Mastering was done by Marcel James through Antelope's Pure2 Mastering Converter and Clock.
