To get the ghost effect, play the same note on different strings, Andreas says. For instance, the G can be played on the third position on the first string and eighth position on the second string. Playing both these notes will give the ghost effect. The third and eighth positions are not the only places where you can play the ghost notes. You can do it practically everywhere on the guitar. Andreas shares his stylistic preferences and his favorite ways to utilize this technique in the video above.
