DESCRIPTION:
Home Depot commits millions of dollars and thousands of volunteer hours in support of veterans and their families. Veterans Day (Nov 11) concluded a month of service where THD was #DoingMove4Vets. I work for The Home Depot, and this year, my patriotic work for symphonic band and choir was performed at the Veterans Day Celebration. The Stephenson High School Wind Ensemble and The Orange Apron Choir, under the direction of Quentin Goins, performed the piece. The Orange Apron Choir was formed from employee volunteers. We rehearsed three days a week since September, and their preparation really showed. All in all, we had a beautiful day and the band and choir made me very proud. The audience loved it too!
