This unreleased recordings of 1967 sees Amedeo Tommasi, one of the most important Italian pianists, joined by Giovanni Tommaso on bass and Enzo Restuccia on drums. You can hear clearly his main sources of inspiration, especially Miles Davis and Bill Evans.

Born in Trieste in 1935, began piano lessons at the age of 6 years. He was among the first in Italy to play the Modern Jazz. He has played with Chet Baker, Massimo Urbani, John Thomas, Roberto Gatto, Franco Mondini, René Thomas, Bobby Jaspar, Jacques Pelzer etc..
In the 60's he worked as an arranger for RCA and worked with many, including Ennio Morricone, Rita Pavone, Mikis Teodorakis, Gianni Morandi, Lucio Dalla, Antonello Venditti, Riccardo Cocciante, Renato Zero, Dino, etc. Michele.
