This song was written in 2005 in Devon. Originally the lyrics were about John Lennon (bless him) but somehow mutated. So did the instrumentation; it started off on marimba, migrated to piano, and finally to accordion and cello. We put everything through the autotune to make it wonky. Vocals Darlini: 'Cello Grahame and accordion Alig.

Variety uncovers more of Alig's bizarre, mind-bending arrangements, melodies and hook-strewn vocals, all seemingly thrown casually over a vast jumble of instruments and influences but engineered with precision and poise by the master of the unexpected.
