Similar to a director's commentary, this video is a voice-over diagram to "The Gates of Delirium" by Yes. The excellent book "Yes - But What Does It Mean?" by Thomas Mosbo © 1994 contained many excellent diagrams "designed to aid the listener in understanding the relationship between various segments of Yes's major works." The numbers in the diagrams are the video timing. The topography of many of Yes's music is overwhelming in its quality, high intelligence, and passion. Therefore I found Mr. Mosbo's diagrams to be very helpful, especially this one! Because of this song's eternal expression of "the inhumanity of man to man," the ugly truth of how humans can become the evil which they fight against, and due to the light of hope the music presents, I feel it is paramount that "The Gates of Delirium" be understood in our minds and hearts.
