DESCRIPTION:
English Folk Dance & Song Society (EFDSS) Associate Artist, Adriano Adewale presents his new large scale work Within the Waves which draws on the sea-faring traditions from England and his native Brazil.
It is a work for massed voices and featured singers, including Communards singer Sarah Jane Morris.​

Within the Waves was presented as part of the EFG London Jazz Festival 2015 in a first-time partnership between Serious and EFDSS and will feature Cecil Sharp House Choir and Werca’s Folk from Northumberland.
