DESCRIPTION:
Commissioned by the EFG London Jazz Festival, Catapluf's Musical Journey is a new work by multi-instrumentalist Adriano Adewale. Adriano and the Festival's Learning team worked in partnership in the run-up to the Festival to develop a concert for children aged 5-7 featuring Catapluf, a character whose imagination travels to places where everything is music; saucepans, water, drums and even the body! The performances played to sold-out audiences of delighted children and adults during the EFG London Jazz Festival 2013.

The 50-minute show is packed full of music from every corner of the globe and loads of ideas to take back to the classroom and featured Jenny Adejayan on cello, Marcelo Andrade and Giuliano Pereira both on saxophone, flute and guitar, Andres Ticino on percussion and Adriano Adewale on -- saucepans and everything else!
