When friends in the music industry first dubbed Adam the name Adam Bomb in 97 he wasnt exactly a fan of the cliché reference to explosions and flare-ups. However, as the years progressed his skills on the turntables and his SP 1200 did as well. Today this producer and DJ refers to these friends as prophets. "They always thought my finished product was explosive be it in the studio or in the club. As Adam Bomb, I have become that atomic wave of energy thats heard in my music."

The transformation from music fan to music connoisseur did not take place overnight. When offered a job as a DJ for Cutting Edge Entertainment at age 13, Adam Bomb jumped on the opportunity to perform at private parties, weddings, proms, bar- mitzvahs, and sweet sixteens. During his seven-year stay at Cutting Edge, Adam Bomb met DJ Excel who shared his interest in music and fine-tuning their skills on the tables. Together the two started spinning at local bars and clubs in Philadelphia. They kept their ears to the streets and networked with other talented Philadelphia DJs such as Sat-One, Jay Ski of 103.9 The Beat, and Kwestion. Having mentored under influential DJs Jazzy Jeff and Cash Money, these five joined forces and created the Skratch Makaniks Crew. Adam Bomb defines the Skratch Makaniks as a group of driven and focused turntablists who all add their own flavor and element to the group. Today the Skratch Makaniks have branched out from NY to Virginia and include DJs Aktive, KD, Jey One, and Spinbad.

As time progressed, Adam Bomb rocked the same stage as artists such as Gangstarr, the Beatnuts, Run DMC, Prince Paul, Wu Tang, and more. He did live radio on the Pure Elements Show on 103.9 The Beat with Jay Ski as well. All the while, Adam Bombs love for music expanded. He wanted to study the art beyond the mixing and scratching and into the realm of production.

Always intrigued by building music from the ground level, Adam Bomb studied under mentor and friend Ahmir, AKA Quest Love, producer/drummer of The Roots. It wasnt until Adam Bomb linked up with a local group Skoolz of Thought that he got to take both of his passions around the world. He not only held the title of international tour DJ, but also took production credits on more than ten of their album cuts. Buzz spread about the quality of his work, so Adam Bomb accepted offers to produce tracks for Baby Blak, El The Sensai, and Outerspace. He is also featured on the DVD for Commons Album Be.

Today, Adams beat catalog consists of more than 500 tracks. Though you can still catch Adam Bomb rocking at the hottest spots in Philly, you will also be able to catch him outside of the DJ booth or studio. He recently signed a contract for cellular ring tone distribution where his beats will be played and purchased internationally. What does the future of Adam Bomb hold? Video game production, movie scores, and t.v. commercials are all goals in foreseeable reach. This DJ/Producer is unsigned hype and will be soon exploding in a city near you.
