I first got this on 8 track tape. By the time it was a month old it already had twenty splices in it. Even though this piece came out years after the Korean war was over, it's surprising that this wasn't done. The F-86 produced America's first jet aces, and allowed a bombing campaign in North Korea that brought about the cease fire in effect today. The combat sequences are from the first kills of the American jet ace "Hoot Gibson" in Korea on Combat Air Patrol. Although he flamed both planes, the first was credited to his wing man. The second sequence, the "rolling scissors", was his first recorded kill of a MIG 15 with the F 86 Sabre jet. The lady doesn't play.
