NEW FAITH

NEW FAITH was formed in Winter of '88' by Joe V. & Steven Wieting in NYC. The direction of the band was a compromise of music which today is often referred to as metal-core. After the departure of Steve W. and the reformation of the band in 1991 they took on a straight forward no frills NY Hardcore approach which they continue to until this day thus ending the original compromise . Throughout the late 80's and through the 90's they released only 3 cassette demo's. In 1998 a full length cd was recorded but never released until 2007 titled the "The Lost Recordings" along with a self titled 3 song cd on V Wreckidds. They appeared on "United States Of Deception" cd compilation in 2010. With yet another reincarnation of the band, rehearsal's have began for yet more new material to be released winter 2011 the cd will be discography of recordings from 1989- present.
The name NEW FAITH was chosen for a challenge of new ideas and beliefs and spreading self awareness.
