DESCRIPTION:
Growing up in a musical 'Gharana', Abhijit Pohankar has been involved in making music and singing since childhood. Known for his unique style of playing classical music on the keyboard, he has composed some of the finest tunes and fusion melodies.

Abhijit starts off the episode with a mind numbing rendition of Piya Bawari while playing his harmonium.
He goes on to talk about his childhood and his influences that ranged from his father, Ajay Pohankar to legends like Bhimsen Joshi.
He tells us about some interesting facts about 'Bandishes' and 'Thumris' and how they are used in Bollywood as original compositions.
