City of Glass - Video

DESCRIPTION:
Bread & Roses was one of the best things to ever happen to me.
Bread & Roses was a cafe on State Street in New Haven, just a walk across town from where i lived. It was a store front space with a large american flag painted on the window. the one with a coiled, ready to strike, snake
and the words "DONT TREAD ON ME". the cafe was run by two young political activists, but operated day to day by local high school students and all there friends. i practically lived there. and this was one of the places i did occasional shows. but mostly it was a social center for political people, some gay people, musicians, and an bright kids.
the photos here were from a show i did there, taken by Larry, one of the many young people i knew at that time.

the song is from my 2nd release, LITTLE EYES, on De Stijl Recs. http://www.destijlrecs.com/askew.html
