Hi peeps, Q' Tee Again.

Everybody knows that the London 2012 Olympics has been the hot ting over the past few weeks, and the greatest sprinters are from the Caribbean Island of Jamaica, home of Usain Bolt! Well, the same spirit within Jamaica's sprinters is the spirit in Jamaica's music. The Olympic Spirit is in the Island!!! The Jamaican Music Artists are always good to go!!

We have some exclusive footage from Jamaica for you today. I show you some footage filmed by a good friend of mine and one of the TOP DJs in London, DJ Quincy. The footage is of him in Jamaica meeting up with different music artists, interviewing them, getting them to perform and entertain on the spot and record dub plates. But I'm telling you right now that turning on the swagger for the camera in an instant is not a problem for a Jamaican "DeeJay" (Jamaican term for MC, not Disc Jockey). The reason I'm showing you this video is so that you can learn from the Jamaican mentality and their approach to being an entertainer.

Jamaican artists don't beat around the bush, if they happen to be in the studio and a DJ comes in and asks them for a jingle, they'll be ready to do it there and then. They won't say "yeah maybe, I'll do it in the next week or so"; they will jump in the booth in an instant.

DJ Quincy shows us artists such as; Egg Nogg, Flex, Lexus, Nitchie Cotchie, Singing Sweet, Deli Ranks, Timberlee, Snatch and Chi Ching. So check it out, enjoy and learn. Our next blog will be part 2.
