"Antoni Donchev is a model contemporary musician, easily and skillfully handling the broad variety of forms in performing and composing. He has no difficulty whatever combining the versatility of jazz stylistics with folklore and classical music in all their aspects."
Born on february 5-th, 1959, Bourgas, Bulgaria.
The name of Antoni Donchev has been connected with all the major prestigious Bulgarian jazz awards over the last 20 years.
He has performed at a number of world famous jazz festivals: Ost - West in Nuremberg, Jazz Yatra in Bombay and Delhi, Jazz Jamboree in Warsaw, Prague Jazz Festival, Jazz Fair in Zagreb, Moscow, Hanover, Roermond, Tbilisi, Thessaloniki, Istanbul and played witha musiciens like Kenny Wheeler, George Garzone, Tomasz Stanko, Tommy Smith, Glen Moore, Vladimir Tarasov, Andy Scofeild, Petras Vysniauskas, Reiner Winterschladen, Eric Vloeimans, Lars Danielson, Zoltan Lantos, NDR Big Band.
He is conductor of the Bulgarian radio Big Band since 2010.

Born on september 30th, 1971 in Sevlievo, Bulgaria

Alongside classical studies at the conservatory of music "L.Pipkov" (1985 - 1990) and the National Academy of Music "Pancho Vladigerov" - Sofia, Bulgaria (1990 - 1995), Georgi was introduced to jazz and shortly thereafter played with the most famous Bulgarian jazz musicians: Milcho Leviev, Antoni Donchev, Stoyan Yankulov, Teodosi Spasov, Hristo Yotzov, and also with the clarinettiste Ivo Papazov.
Since 1995 Georgi lives in Paris, joined the jazz department of the National Conservatory of Music and studied with François Jeanneau, Jean-François Jenny Clark, Hervé Sellin and François Théberge.
