DESCRIPTION:
These are honor music students from San Francisco schools getting together to perform on Feb 13, 2010 at Lowell High School's auditorium. They had only 2 rehearsals together before appearing before the public. As stated that evening, it has been documented time and again that learning a musical instrument helps students perform better in all areas of academic learning, and it is not justified to continually cut music and art programs when these courses are especially needed at this time. The evening's concert was proof of the validity of the music program in public schools.
