DESCRIPTION:
Mojotone pickup guru David Shepherd shows us the ins and outs of his new '72 Wide Range Humbucker Pickups. David starts out by playing a Fender '72 Telecaster Deluxe Reissue to show us the sound of the stock pickups and stock electronics. Next, David switches out the pickups to the new Mojotone '72 Wide Range Humbucker Custom Pickups and shows us the tonal differences therein. Lastly, David changes out the guitar's electronics to include the new Mojotone '72 Wide Range Humbucker Wiring Harness and all 500k potentiometers -- at the same time he changes the pickups to the new Mojotone '72 Wide Range Humbucker Clones.
For clean tones, David is playing through a Mojotone Fender Blackface Bassman Style Head Kit. For dirty tones, David is playing through a Mojotone British 45 Style Head Kit. The cabinet being used is a Mojotone 2x12 Select loaded with Mojotone Greyhound speakers.
The sound was captured by (2) Shure SM57s and no additional EQ, compression, etc., has been added to the audio.
