D2#1 Steady Eddy - Alfred's Basic Piano Duet Book Level 2, p.2-3 - Video
PUBLISHED:  Dec 08, 2013
DESCRIPTION:
News Update: Unfortunately, we have to temporarily suspend our "piano duet" project due to the increasing difficulty in learning the teacher's part of each duet piece in the book. I am the bottleneck of the learning process, whereas the student parts in the duet pieces are easy for Sean and manageable for Tina.

Last month (Nov. 2013), Sean (nine years old), Tina (seven years old), and I embarked on a new initiative called "Piano Duet with My Kids". We bought the Alfred's Basic Piano Duet Book level 2, which will be our focus in the next year. This book is not difficult for Sean, whereas Tina is facing a challenge to keep the pace with her brother. One of our goals is to make Sean and Tina stay on the same page. While we are working on the second piece in the book, I realize that it is me who is falling behind the progress.

It took us five weeks (i.e., 4 hours) to learn, memorize, and record "Steady Eddy". An "Oh Yeah" moment was added at the end of this video to celebrate our collaboration. The second piece is easier than this one and; therefore, we hope to complete the the second one within three weeks.
