DESCRIPTION:
Wil Donegan (left), playing "Loosely" (opening line is "I have a question"), 7/8/08 as part of Chapel Hill's first night of a week-long "The Club Is Open" festival. The first venue hosting the festival was E. Franklin Street's Jack Sprat Cafe. Donations and proceeds from this festival benefit "Carolina for Kibera" (cfk.unc.edu).
This special week of The Club Is Open runs through Sunday, July 13; this week's celebration supplements periodic TCIO events at Cat's Cradle (...and perhaps Local 506 as well - not sure on Local 506.)
