Trekky Records

Trekky Records is a record label and collective based out of Chapel Hill, North Carolina. It was founded in 2001 by Chapel Hill natives Martin Anderson and Will Hackney as an outlet for their friends' music. At the time, both were just in high school, and they ran the label out of Will's house and car. As the label has grown, Martin and Will have attempted to restore to Chapel Hill the vibrant indie scene that it was once famous for, by helping the countless network of local musicians to release and distribute their music. Trekky is about collaboration: between bands, labels, venues, record stores and people.
