DESCRIPTION:
Minnesota band Hippo Campus brings its upbeat, guitar-driven indie rock to the stage at JBTV Music Television! Although the band comprised of Jake Luppen, Nathan Stocker, Zach Sutton, and Whistler Allen only formed in 2013, they have been quickly on the rise after opening for bands such as Modest Mouse, Walk the Moon, and the Mowgli's.

After graduation, the band drew the attention of several fans, including fellow Minnesotan band Low. The band quickly gained even more momentum, playing shows at South By Southwest and appearing on Conan before their 2014 debut Bashful Creatures, produced by Alan Sparhawk of Low, was released. Hippo Campus has continued their streak of opportunities, performing at Lollapalooza and touring throughout the fall of 2015. The band’s second EP ‘South’ was released on November 2 via Grand Jury Records in the US and Transgressive Records in the UK.
