Following critical acclaim from The Sunday Times for their album ,’The City Is Full Of Beasts’, as well as a nomination for XFM’s New Music Award, violet violet are now set to unleash their brand new and final record, ‘The Ebony and Ivory EP.’ With the already established 2 pronged dynamics, this record sees the pair progress into a deeper, heavier sound whilst still retaining their trademark dual vocals and lyrical bite. ‘The Ebony and Ivory EP’ is the bands darkest recording to date, infused with haunting harmonies and pounding drums. Shaded by heavy reverb, jagged guitar chords and crushing bass lines layer up into a dusky close.



After recent support slots with the legendary 80s icons The Slits, the duo are armed with an exciting set of last tour dates in honour of the release as violet violet head into an amicable but indefinite hiatus. Dates include a return trip to Germany where the girls have toured extensively for the past few years.
