VIENTO is a multi-talented band that will soon be generating plenty of attention in the Tejano Music industry. Although the band may be new to many, the elements that make up VIENTO are no newcomers to the music scene. With each band member having years of experience with various artists throughout their career, such as La Sombra, Joe Bravo, and Joe Riveles they decided to come together as a whole to form a band where they could express themselves in their own musical genre.

Now as VIENTO, they have come together to innovate a sound and style that is quickly being talked about throughout the U.S. Strength and unity are traits that can describe VIENTO. The success and growth have been consistent and prevalent throughout, as the guys continue to challenge themselves as a band. This passion and determination is evident in their shows and their debut CD entitled, "Que Te Lleve El Viento" the most definitive CD yet from a band possessing the strength, unity, and the will to keep Tejano Music going and pushing it forward. The definitive lineup of Viento includes Jimmy Garcia-drums, Ernesto Garcia- keyboards, Don Garcia-vocals, Jamie Garcia-congas and vocals, David Garcia-trumpet, Jeremy Rangel-accordion and vocals, and Ramiro Herrera-bajo sexto. You can count on Viento, one of Tejano's most innovative bands, to do things with a level of commitment that will knock the wind right out of you. Their music spans different generations and genres and includes a trio of their original hits such as "Chica", "Munequita de Algodon", and"Amigos". "Que Te Lleve El Viento" is a fitting title for the new VIENTO album being that their debut CD will blow you away. The album, which was co-produced by Jimmy Garcia and Steven Patterson under Rokko Records, will be released in March 2006 and includes 10 songs. The selections include "Mujer", "Chica", "Mi Secreto Amor", "Amigos", "Si Yo Pudiera", "El Wiri, Wiri", "Tu","Lagrimas Lloro", "Munequita de Algodon", and "Volver, Volver".

VIENTO'S commitment to Tejano can never be underestimated. One of Tejano music's most distinctive orators and gifted musicians, their track record is as enviable as any artist of the genre. Now and in the years to come, watch as VIENTO continues to grow and achieve new heights within the music industry.
