DESCRIPTION:
A jaw dropping slice of rockabily bop that never fails to excite. I remember buying this on an Injun 45 and then the Spade repro when I was a teenager. Both pressings had a 'jump' that missed a small part of the song just after the first guitar solo and the sound left a lot to be desired.There was only ever one version of the song released despite what people say. We had to be patient and wait for the 'Bop Crazy Baby' Rockstar EP which had a great sound and no bits missing ! There is nothing more I can say about this killer that hasn't been said before. If I ever met the  bass player, Lou Fresley, I would shake his hand and tell him that his playing is on this platter is the finest example of slap bass playin' that I ever heard on any rockabilly record. High praise indeed but it's fully justified. Just listen and hear why and just check out all that dead wax !!
