Ave Maria - Schubert (Tenor clef practice) - Video
PUBLISHED:  Mar 20, 2017
DESCRIPTION:
It's been 20 months or so since I started learning.

Here's an exercise from the Tenor Clef book I've just started learning from. The first half is written in the Bass clef and the second half is a repeat but written in the Tenor clef. The fact it's such a famous piece helps you predict what the note should sound like.

Sorry for the tuning issues... I'm also trying to perfect my legato playing with vibrato and nice smooth bowing. So much to remember!

I was also being lazy and didn't bother recording the piano part. The book is quite nice that it has a little study followed by a piece adapted to help you get to grips with the clef and a certain key they are concentrating on for that exercise. All the pieces come with piano accompaniment so you can perform them in their own right if you want.
