Bloody Crackdown Genre:Post Hard Core Punk/Thrash. Hometown: Ft. Campbell, Ky., and Richmond, Virginia. Recruited from the bionic discards of various footnote bands of the Richmond, Va. music scene (Dik Suk Jak, F*ck Your Mother, GWAR, and Flailo), The Bloody Crackdown debuted on October 3rd, 1999, the 6th anniversary of the Bakkara Market massacre in Mogadishu, Somalia. Founding members Al K., Moe Lester, and Buddy Love. gave birth to an unholy child grounded more in the ways of their previous outfits, the 101st Airborne Division, the 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne), & the U.S. Marines, than of their own skills. At first public reaction was lackluster, but years of training, touring, and rehearsals made their mark and the unit managed to earn it's wings. After some critical acclaim (and outcry), Buddy Love made a personal sacrifice, committing himself to mastering the secrets of Delta Force, for the good of one & all. Faced with the prospect of no low end attack, the crippled Crackdown enlisted the services of Mike Hunt the fourth or fifth, fresh from war torn Afghanistan with recent memories of furious firefights, festering body piles, and flashbacks from the valley of death careening in his head. 2 years later, in a burned-out and nameless Iraqi hell hole, the CRACKDOWN came across the gratuitous sex object, and former C.I.A. assassin, "Special Patrol Group", who escaped excecution by hiding under the corpse of her dead Team Leader, Old Weird Harold. She gave the boys such a great headache, that they kidnapped her, and brought her back to thier barracks in the United States, to be their personal commando/punk-rock, X-Rated, Playboy Bunny, Geisha Girl.(The only problem is/was that she brought Old Weird Harold with her too!) .A fully galvanized noise machine was forged! Also, they got new weapons. They were now well armed, with the resolve and intent to BLOW SHIT UP!!! .Their finely-honed sound ranges the post punk/hardcore underground map.
