DESCRIPTION:
Kristian Auth and Christian Göbel started the Soul Inn in 2006. Since then "At the Soul
Inn" has been opening its doors to guests on the first Saturday of each month at the Lido
Flying in the face of convention, students mix it up on the dance floor with the "older"
generation, whilst tourists get down with Kreuzberg's locals and the soul nerds. Live
bands, guest dj's and record collectors from around the globe keep things diverse.
At Soul Inn it's not about being hip, it's about dancing and enjoying great music!
The musical spectrum stretches from 50's and 60's rhythm & blues, early soul and
northern soul to deep funk and modern soul. Check out our Youtube channel for a taste
of what lands on our turntables!
At Soul Inn there are no restrictions, so don't be surprised to hear a reggae or ska set.
There is, however, one golden rule: it must have soul and it must be an original 45.
Don't expect any CD's, mp3's, laptops, samplers or bootlegs!
The first fifty guests at Soul Inn receive a free promo CD. Latecomers who miss out
on the CD can listen to all our latest mixes on Mixcloud.
Besides the musical delights on offer, everything else about the Lido screams soul.
A wooden dance floor, photos, projections and films featuring legendary soul artists
round out the picture.

Alongside our "Artist and 45's of the Week" you'll find news about smaller Soul Inn
gigs, as well as upcoming soul parties organized by our friends. There's also the
chance to nab a spot on a guestlist for a concert or party or grab a promo CD.

Die Soulinn wurde 2006 von Kristian Auth und Christian Göbel gegründet.
Seitdem öffnet die 'AT THE SOUL INN' jeden ersten Samstag im Monat ihre Pforten im Lido!
Allen Konventionen zum Trotz tanzen hier 'Studis' neben 'Älteren Herrschaften', 'Touris' neben 'Alt-Kreuzbergern'
und 'Soul-Nerds'.
Für Abwechslung sorgen Live Bands, Gast DJ's und Plattensammler aus der ganzen Welt.
Bei der Soul Inn geht es nicht ums Hip sein -- es geht um die Musik und das Tanzen!
