DESCRIPTION:
This piece, Alla Alla Yarabi, was performed live by Tunde Jegede & the African Classical Music Ensemble and it features Juldeh Camara on vocals and riti, and Sona Jobarteh on vocals and udu. It is part of a live theatre show entitled, Ancient Futures, which is the first multi-media show of its kind, weaving together culture, history and art through the evocative live visuals of the artists, Sunara Begum and Trevor Mathison.
