The song is based on a statement Yelawolf made back in August 2015 where he defended the Confederate Flag, but after a conversation with fellow rapper Big KRIT, he saw why some people saw it as racism and then changed his opinion about how the Confederate flag should be conceived. He also dedicates a few bars to the Charleston church shooting that took place this past June 2015 and left nine people dead. Otherwise Yelawolf takes us through an 8-minutes long guitar-strung autobiographical journey, packed with references to his previous tracks and emotions. The song was released for free online on october 30. 2015.
