One of the most amazing musicians I have ever played with,Tony Castellano on piano and vocals decided to do this very famous ballad as a burning number. Laura was wriiten by David Raksin in 1945 with lyrics by Johnny Mercer.What is amazing is the tempo he sets while playing the bass lines on his left hand. Of course Tony does a great solo with his right hand while keeping the up tempo bass lines with his left hand. And on top of that,he sings Laura with his own style which is so swinging! Playing the great tenor sax solo is my good friend Tim Eddy.I never know what Tony is going to do on his featured numbers,but it`s always so much fun to see what happens.
