DESCRIPTION:
The 2014 Sounds of Mardi Gras festival (http://www.fresnodixie.com) was held in Fresno, California, February 6-9. Many great bands were there. This video is of Tom Rigney and his Flambeau band (http://tomrigney.com) beginning with "Treat Me Like A Dog", featuring the festival Parasol Parade, and the second number is a unique blending of Irish and Cajun music, "Guiness & Gumbo". Band members are Tom Rigney, leader/violin; Caroline Dahl, piano; Danny Caron, guitar; Steve Park, bass guitar; and Brent Rampone, drums. Video by Bill Schneider.
