Kat Eggleston hails from picturesque Vashon Island in Puget Sound, Washington. She is a prolific singer-songwriter whose music is informed by a great love and knowledge of traditional music. She is also an accomplished hammer dulcimer player. Kat often performs today with Utah based folk artist, songwriter, and fiddle player Kate MacLeod.

The "River City Folk" television program was produced in 1994-95 by Tom May, the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and Branson, Missouri's Americana Cable Network.
It was shown throughout the U.S. on cable networks and on PBS TV in Nebraska.

The radio broadcast of "River City Folk" was the inspiration for the television broadcast , and continues today, now in its 28th year. Check local listings for times, or

Kat remain very active in the acoustic music world, having returned to her Washington State roots after spending years in the Chicago area.
