عن الفيلم والموسيقى التصويرية: الفيلم يعرض قصة عائلة الكورليوني بداية من سنة 1945 م، إحدى أقوى عائلات
المافيا الإيطالية في نيويورك والمتورطة بأعمال إجرامية مختلفة كإدارة نوادي
القمار والبغاء ومتاجرة الكحول إلا أن علاقات زعيم العائلة دون فيتو كورليوني
)مارلون براندو( بشخصيات سياسية هامة قد منحته نفوذا قويا ومنح أعمال
عائلته تغطية، حيث كان يلجأ إليه الناس لحمايتهم ومساعدتهم، وبذلك هو
يؤدي خدمه لأصحابه من خلال هذه العلاقات السياسية والاجتماعية، غير أن هذه
العلاقات تتأثر بعد رفضه لطلب سالازو بحمايته وأعماله في تجارة المخدرات
لقاء مبلغ كبير من المال، مما يتسبب في إقحام العائلة في حرب مع بقية
العائلات، فيتدخل للمساعدة وإنقاذ العائلة من الدمار الابن الأصغر للدون
مايكل )آل باتشينو( الذي كان عسكريا بعد الحرب العالمية الثانية والذي كان
لا يريد أن يشارك في أعماله مع العائلة أو يتورط في أعمالهم لكنه ينضم إلى
العائلة بعد مقتل شقيقه سوني )جيمس كان( ويثأر له من العائلات الأخرى
التي ساهمت في اغتياله ويصفي حساباتها كلها ويعيد لها هيبتها ومكانتها
بالمجتمع.
ومن خلال أحداث الفيلم المؤثرة، تألق مؤلفنا نينو روتّا ) 1911 م - 1979 م( في تأليف
الموسيقى التصويرية بشكل مؤثر جداً ومعبر عن الأحداث والمشاهد الدرامية
بشكل فيه الكثير من الصدق والشفافية والأحاسيس العاطفية الدافئة، وقد
اخترت أجمل ثلاث مقاطع من الأجزاء الثلاثة للفيلم ودمجتها في قطعة واحدة،
لأقدمها على آلة العود بمرافقة البيانو.

About the film and the soundtrack:
The Godfather movie consists of three parts. It is adapted from a novel by «Mario
Puzo», and was directed in 1972 by internationally renowned director Francis Ford
Coppola. The film stars Marlon Brando and Al Pacino, and is considered by many
critics to be the best film in the history of world cinema.
Aside from the skill of the actors and the unique script, the film is remarkable as
it was directed in a way that was very different to other films of the seventies.
The film presents the story of the Corleone family, and begins the narration from
1945They were one of the most respected and established families of the Italian Mafia
in New York and were involved in criminal activities, such as the management of casinos,
prostitution and the alcohol trade. The relationships that the head of the family, «Don
Vito Corleone» (Marlon Brando), had with key political figures allowed him to become
very influential and he was able to cover-up the crimes committed by his family. People
would resort to him for protection and help, and in this way he offered a service to
his friends that was made possible through his social and political relations. But these
relationships were adversely affected after he rejected a request from «Salazo», who
asked that he protect him and his drug trafficking activities in return for a large sum of
money.
This rejection resulted in the family becoming embroiled in a war against the other
families. At this point, Don›s youngest son Michael (Al Pacino), stepped in to help and
save the family from destruction. He was a military man who took part in World War
II and he had no desire to participate in his father›s or his family›s criminal activities.
But after the death of his brother he joined the family to take revenge against the
other families who had had him assassinated. He intended to settle his family›s score
against the other families, and restore its prestige and position in society.
Accompanying the touching events of the film is a moving soundtrack created by
the talented Italian composer Nino Rota (1911-1979). The soundtrack expresses the
drama of these events and is full of feeling and emotional warmth.
