DESCRIPTION:
English guitarist and composer Gordon Giltrap has written a lot of themes for UK TV programmes over the years; and this is one of those.
It was used for a documentary about the working aristocracy, and certainly has that essential English Elizabethan quality, maybe a nod to lutenist composers like John Dowland.
My lute was in for its 20,000 mile service hehe, so I have played it on my classical guitar with capo on the first fret to bring it into the tonal range of that instrument a bit.
