This song is about Peter having enough faith to step out of the boat he was sitting in, and walk on water while he kept his eyes on Jesus. This Bible story made me think of how much courage that would've taken, being as water symbolized the abyss to the people of that day. I have my own abyss to step out over: I'm going on a missions trip to Thailand this summer, and I need to raise about $1,200. I can't do this on my own, so this is my step of faith, and I'm hoping, through God's grace, that He will provide the funds I need to be able to go on this trip.
