DESCRIPTION:
Week 25 of a series I"M calling "52 Licks." 1 new jazz phrase for each week.

I got a number requests for more Jimmy Cobb, so here's an uptempo phrase by JC that I love.

It's simply two 6-stroke rolls, followed by a Miles lick (we'll talk about that in a later video).


This a fairly common phrase, but it sounds great and is easy to use. This is where I first heard it.
