The Swiss trio THE JACKETS around the charismatic singer and guitarist Jackie Brutsche, whose strong vocals are equally seductive and piercing, has become a talking point through their wild and stylish Live-Shows all over Europe among other things. The band was founded by songwriter-team Jackie Brutsche and Chris Rosales in 2007 and all three bandmembers can be more than proud of their musical background (THE MAD COWGIRL DISEASE, LIGHTNING/REVEREND BEATMAN, THE FOX, THE GET LOST, THE BUDGET BOOZERS, DIE TAPETE, SUEHIRO COMMANDER etc.) After their debut album STUCK INSIDE, released on SUBVERSIV RECORDS, their second album WAY OUT will now come out on SOUNDFLAT RECORDS as LP and CD. The songs are gloomy, trashy Garage-Rock with a good deal of 70's Punk and a bit of psychedelic; a sound, whis is anything but well-behaved and reminds one of the 'anti-Beatles' from the 60's: THE MONKS. If it's infectious, fuzzed-up Garage-Hits such as 'Wasting my Time', direct and out of control Punkrock with a croaking guitar like 'Last Chance' or sinister ballads like 'The City' - each of you will be infected by the pure energy of the Jackets-Fever! With 'In my Mind' this band has literally reached a new apex of coolness.
