(Written by Bob Miller 1895 - 1935 who also wrote the Country Standards "ELEVEN CENT COTTON","FORTY CENT MEAT" & "ROCKING ALONE IN AN OLD ROCKING CHAIR"...He also co-wrote Elton Britt's 1942 Hit "THERE'S A STAR SPANGLED BANNER WAVING SOMEWHERE" under the pseudonym "Shelby Darnell" but may have just provided an arrangement for the melody).
