The Earthfall

English: The Earthfall was created some years ago by a bunch of crazy motherfuckers that wanted to suond exactly like themselves. The band reharsed and played in many live shows in a lot of important clubs of northern Italy, setting fire to those places with passion and dedication. We then produced our first demo ( “Falling & Rising”, 2006) that was widely appreciated by italian specialized magazines ( you can read the reviews on this page). With even more shows scheduled and the succesful partecipation at important musical contests, we managed to sell every copy of our product. Supercharged by the situation we thought that it was time to move inside the studio and work at our first full-lenght cd. In march 2008 we stepped inside the “Art of Sound Studio” ( Enrico Pedrini, Bologna) with only one thought on our minds: “Slash and burn, baby!!”. But, guess what? It turned out to be a little differnt than what we expected to be. The recording and mastering was finished in 3 months, but due to several failed proposals by foreign people interested in the work, the album was ready to be sold only one year after.the pression and friction raised during this unluky period caused a fracture inside the ensemble: Emanuele Fabrizio ( original member, rhythm & lead guitar) splitted from the band because of personal dissonances. Nonetheless we wish for the best for him. After that we were forced to stop the live acts for a few months. But we were born stubborn: we never give in!! Gianluca ( bass player) moved on to the guitar, and after some auditions the bass wass taken by Riccardo Ronchi ( from Zephirum), a well trained bastard with great experience in the hard-core/metal scene.and a great guy! Back with new will and concrete strong, the band wrote 7 new songs in 2 months and is now planning the new dates (contact us if you're interested) and looking forward to find a label. Italiano: The Earthfall nasce qualche anno fa da un gruppo di cazzoni pazzoidi che volevano suonare esattamente come sé stessi. La band si prepara e si esibisce in molti live shows in importanti club del nord-Italia, mettendoli a ferro e fuoco con la propria passione e impegno. Nel 2006 registra il primo demo autoprodotto (“Falling & Rising”) largamente apprezzato dalla stampa specializzata italiana ( potete leggere le recensioni in questa pagina). Con ancora più date in programma e le riuscite partecipazioni a importanti contests musicali, ogni copia del prodotto è venduta. Esaltati dalla situazione abbiamo pensato fosse tempo di rientrare in studio, per metterci alla prova col nostro primo cd full-lenght. Nel marzo 2008, The Earthfall assalta l' “Art of Sound Studio” (Enrico Pedrini, Bologna) con un solo pensiero in testa: “Adesso sono cazzi.!”. Ma indovinate un po'? La cosa è saltata fuori un po' diversa da come ci eravamo immaginati. Registrazione e mastering sono stati completati in 3 mesi ma, a causa di alcune proposte fallite provenienti dall'estero, l'album era pronto per la vendita soltanto 1 anno dopo ( con il titolo “The Great Illusion”, 2009).le pressioni e le tensioni sorte in questo sfortunato periodo hanno causato una frattura nel gruppo: Emanuele Fabrizio ( membro originale, chitarra ritmica & solista) si è separato dalla band per divergenze personali. Nonostante tutto, gli auguriamo il meglio. Per questo siamo stati costretti a un luuungo stop. Ma siamo nati testardi: non ci arrendiamo mai!! Gianluca ( bassista) è passato alla chitarra e, dopo alcune audizioni il basso è stato imbracciato da Riccardo Ronchi ( degli Zephirum) un bastardo ben allenato, con grande esperienza nella scena hard-core/metal! Finalmente solida e tornata con nuova convinzione, la band ha scritto 7 nuove canzoni in 2 mesi e sta pianificando le nuove date ( contattateci se siete interessati). Cerchiamo anche un'etichetta.
