Kesha checks into rehab for an eating disorder, here are the signs that we saw it coming. Hey Animals, let's rally for Kesha during this tough time. You're watching ClevverMusic of course. January 4th Kesha posted this message on her Facebook page revealing she'd checked into rehab for 30 days, "I'm a crusader for being yourself and loving yourself but I've found it hard to practice. I'll be unavailable for the next 30 days, seeking treatment for my eating disorder... to learn to love myself again. Exactly as I am. --K". This news might seem shocking to some, but let's take a short trip down memory lane. In 2011 vegetarian Kesha was bashed by the media for a bikini beach photo while in Australia. Then in January 2013 she told Seventeen magazine in an interview, "I remember every person who told me I couldn't do something or that I was ugly or too fat." Then a few months later Kesha debuted a slimmer figure and even appeared on the cover of Shape magazine in June. She seemed self-assured telling the mag, "When I'm eating healthy and working out, it helps me stay sane and exude confidence." And in her recent "Timber" music video with Pitbull she debuted an even slimmer body shape. Lately, Kesha's fans have been crusading for her to be released from music producer Dr. Luke's control, after Kesha told Rolling Stone she didn't have any creative control over her music. TMZ is reporting Kesha told her friends the eating issues were caused by Dr. Luke, starting back in 2011. He allegedly gave her grief over her weight and during a music video shoot called her a "f***ing refrigerator". These negative comments from someone close to anyone could definitely spark unhealthy eating habits. Some critics such as Perez Hilton believe this rehab stint is a ploy to get her away from Dr. Luke and save the future of her career, and hey, it might be. No official response from Dr. Luke yet but over the weekend he tweeted "Don't worry!!!!" and "Be Happy!!!!"
