Johnny Chester & The Blue Denim Country Band - She's Gone (To Someone Else's Arms) - Video
PUBLISHED:  May 14, 2013
DESCRIPTION:
When I first heard this record, in 1976, I was struck by how 'different' it was as compared to what I'd come to expect from Chess.

Typically, I thought of a Johnny Chester country song as being bright & bouncy...good fun...singalong, maybe.
THIS track, however, had more of a pure country, lonesome, crying in my beer sound...and, I thought it was GREAT!
Still do.

It was released in Australia in 1976 on a Fable 45, FB-267.
The flipside was another of Johnny's own compositions, "Gotta Get Back To Tamworth", which I've also uploaded to YouTube.

Interestingly, Johnny re-recorded this song in 2003 on his "Nashville Sessions" album, but, I prefer this original version, with The Blue Denim Country Band...which later became Hotspur.

This upload is from the original 45.
